Purrfection Cat Retreat
Terms and Conditions of service:



All guests staying at Purrfection must have a F3 Vaccination given at least 14 days prior to arrival. A certificate of vaccination must be presented at the time of admission, otherwise boarding will be refused and your deposit paid will be non refundable. We also reserve the right to refuse admission if any guest is showing signs of ill health.


Guests are boarded at their own risk; of course every care is taken. Purrfection Cat Retreat will not be liable for any illness, injury or death of any animal in its care.

If your cat does require veterinary attention, the owner is responsible for all costs incurred. We will first of all try to contact the owner and then if your vet is in the local area we will contact them. However if this is not possible we will contact our designated vet for treatment.


We will administer oral medication for those cats that are amenable, providing it does not cause danger to our staff for no extra fee, however if your cat requires an injection is stressed or a danger to staff, then we will call in a local veterinary nurse for a small fee. Please discuss this on booking.


Please ensure your flea and worming treatments are up to date for the health and safety of all other guests.


Arrivals and Departures:


We are open for check -in and check- out during the following hours only:

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 12.00pm and 3.00pm to 6.00pm

Saturday: 9.00am to 12.00pm

Sunday and Public Holidays: Closed.


If you pick up before 11.30 am you will not be charged for an extra day. However if you collect after 11:30am an extra days accommodation will charged on pick-up, unless a special collection time is arranged prior to your date of check-out. Please ensure this is discussed at time of booking or at check-in. 


Inspections, Bookings, Payments and Cancellations:



We want to make sure Purrfection is the perfect choice for your cats stay so we welcome and often recommend inspections. This is a chance for you to tour our retreat and speak with our team about your cat(s) and what their needs may be, it allows you to feel comfortable leaving them with us and allows us to get some information to ensure your cat(s) stay is as comfortable as possible.

Bookings can be easily made through our website, once you have confirmed your dates and room type you will receive a booking confirmation form. Please ensure this is completed correctly as it will help your cat(s) holiday run as smooth as possible, if you do not wish to book online then we are more than happy to discuss bookings and any enquiries that you may have. These can be made by phone (02 4982 8998) between:

9.00am and 5.00pm - Monday to Friday.

9.00am to 12.00pm - Saturday.

Closed Sunday.

Payment for your cats stay are to be made on drop-off or collection for your booking and can be made by cash, bank transfer or credit card. If you wish to make payment prior to your visit this can be done by bank transfer or credit card over the phone, please contact us if you wish to make an early payment.


For stays longer than 14 days a payment plan can be arranged if required.

Holiday Periods (School & Public Holidays)

A non refundable deposit of 25% of your booking fee is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due on arrival. 


If for whatever reason you need to cancel your cats stay with us, simply provide us 48 Hours notice via phone or email in order to cancel your booking, you will not be charge anything and we hope to see you again in the future.

Holiday Periods (School & Public Holidays)

If you need to cancel your booking during the holiday periods, we reserve the right to hold your deposit unless significant notice is provided (minimum 3 weeks notice) Deposits are not transferable for future stays and cannot be passed on for other guest bookings.

If you feel you have a special circumstance for cancelling at short notice please contact us and we are happy to discuss your situation and work with you to resolve a happy outcome.

Late Check-out:

If you collect your cat(s) after 11:30am on day of check-out an extra days accommodation will charged, unless a special collection time is arranged prior to your date of check-out. Please ensure this is discussed at time of booking or at check-in. 

Competitions and Giveaways:

At times Purrfection Cat Retreat will run competitions and giveaways for our guests or potential guests, these will be run fairly and without bias or corruption. All details around any current competitions or giveaways will be found on our page -
